It’s raining so hard in Houston right now. I thought I was going to get soaked at school walking to class and from class. It’s been raining hard on and off for the last few hours and when I watched the news’ weather forecast this morning they said that it’s only going to be spots of rain… Not raining cats and dogs.
I guess I shouldn’t believe weather forecasts anymore, especially in Houston… Lol

I cannot wait to cop these… I’ve been feeling like Jordan was never going to drop any 10s in awhile. I remember in ‘05 when he dropped the white / varsity red Steel 10s and I copped them with my birthday money, lol… I f*cked those up though because I played basketball in them for two years. I still have them, in my trunk for days when I want to work out in them. The soles are yellow and they’re creased to the point of no return. I kind of regret messing them up, but hey… I’m pretty sure he’ll drop them again before I die.
But these Chicagos are probably one of the dopest releases in January. Are you gonna cop?

Boring day at work.

Indian dude was the best one, in my opinion.
This movie was probably one of the best movies of the year so far.
My top 7 movies of 2011 so far (in no particular order, cuhs’ that would be too hard to rate them):

I would put Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Kung Fu Panda 2, The Green Lantern, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and Super 8 but I have not seen those yet. I wish I could see them, but during the week it’s all work and no play.
I can’t wait for Real Steel (because I <3 Wolverine), Harold & Kumar 3, and Immortals to come out :) I know, I know, I’m such a movie buff hahaha.
Is when someone borrows something of mine & never returns it. Even if I forgot that they had it or if I just have not had the time to get it back from them, that does not mean that they have a right to keep it for themselves.
I forgot to mention in my last entry about what happened at work today.
So I get to work & we have this stupid meeting about pointless things we need to do, basically common sense things that everyone should already know by now. & the next thing I know, one of my coworkers, who I can say is a good friend of mine, comes over to the table we’re all sitting at & is completely flaunting MY EARRINGS that I let her borrow on one of the nights we all went out a couple of months ago. I totally didn’t forget about those earrings, I just figured that since she works with me she would eventually give it back on her own time especially since we do hang out on weekends sometimes & I see her on a regular basis. I did get back the dress I let her borrow the same night as well.
I mean, it’s one thing to keep it & just not give it back yet, but it’s another to wear it after you said you would give it back & I’m right there. So I don’t know if she thought I wouldn’t say anything about it, but I did. I guess she felt a little embarrassed about it after I said out loud, in front of everyone, “Hey, those are MY earrings!” & come to find out, from a secret source, that she has been bragging about those earrings that whole day to the whole entire staff. Like wtf? Ok. I’m glad you like my earrings, now can I please have them back?
& to top it all off, she was the biggest bitch at work today. I’m sorry, I had to say it.
So slept in today right… & when my boyfriend and I finally decided it was time to get up and get something to eat, after we leave our apartment complex and head down the street, my tire blows. So I’m fighting traffic to get to the other side of the street so that I’m not driving on my rim. My boyfriend’s trying his best to get this damn tire off my car right & I guess we get into a little argument about it, but it ended up okay. His dad ended up showing up and helping us. But it’s like 100 degrees in Houston right now and us being outside was killing. I probably almost got heat stroke just standing outside for that long. So when we finally got the donut on I went straight to get something to drink and then to Walmart to get a new tire.
First off, Walmart is so ignorant especially when you’re in the so-called “hood.” Like, foreal though, sorry if I offend anyone working at a Walmart or whatever, but everything is so ignorant. The employees are damn near illiterate which is basically the worst part. It’s like they hire ANYONE. My boyfriend used to work at Walmart and he hated it. I see why. But no matter how ignorant and stupid I find Walmart to be, you really can’t beat their prices even if it’s just a couple dollars less than another place.
So anyways, it takes these people to put a single tire on my car about an hour. And keep in mind I still have not ate anything because I am so sick of burgers/fast food. My boyfriend’s sitting there enjoying his Whataburger, ugh. But when it’s finally done, I basically only had an hour to myself before I had to head to work.
Took a 30-minute nap.
Headed to work & I underestimated how much traffic it would be. A daily 15 minute drive ended up being 30-45 minutes. Plus, my car is utterly stupid right now because something is either wrong with the water pump or my fan so it’s been overheating. And the thing almost overheated, smoke flying out my hood type overheating, on the freeway and before I got to work. Plus I’m burning up because my air conditioning is being affected by whatever the problem is.
So I finally get to work without an incident & I’m already drenched in sweat. While working I’m literally melting.
Work was kind of slow… not too much excitement.
Get home, go back to Walmart with my boyfriend to get some groceries & when I get home again I’m so irritated with all the clothes on the floor and our messy ass room so I start cleaning. I just basically got done, took a nice refreshing shower, & now I’m finally relaxing.
Thank goodness.
I have been at work all day. I’m exhausted even though last night was busier. Not a day off until Sunday. Sometimes I think Benihana expects employees to sacrifice their lives for the good of the company. Uhm, not me. Once I get there I’m almost always ready to hit the door as fast as I can especially when it’s a slow day. Then on slow days you look at your tip count and the chefs look at your tip count and think to themselves, “WTF?” Sorry dude, but did you just not notice that we were slow as a mugggg. Lol.
But on the bright side, I’m home now & I came home with Benihana, lol.
T.I., Young Jeezy, and even Big Sean (fyi Benihana DOES NOT, I repeat DOES NOT sell wontons. We are a Japanese establishment, not Chinese, not Korean, not Thai, JAPANESE) rap about eating Benihana on a daily, but I live it, eat it, sleep it daily. Yes, I dream about Benihana most nights for the simple fact that work is a big part of my life.
Woke up late, hit the Post Office to finally mail this cancellation of my membership to Fitness Connection (cuhs’ they suck), ate Taco Bell, and now back home.
It’s too damn hot outside to be out for too long.
Gotta go to work in a few.
- Snooks got skinny! Love it.
- Jen got really skinny. Thought she looked better thicker.
- Sammy looks the same. You can tell in her face that she still wants to smush Ron, lol.
- Mike is still a jerkoff.
- Vinny is still sexy as hell.
- Pauly is still sexy as hell.
- And Ron is just uhhhh… Ron.
Can’t wait for the next episode!
Ugh, good thing it’s only been one episode. Finna watch it right now!
Next week, I am going to get cable lol.
